Oneonta Chapter, NSDAR

Oneonta Chapter meets the second Saturday of each month, September through December and March through June, at 322 Main St, Oneonta, New York. The Oneonta Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on April 1, 1897, in Oneonta, New York, taking an Indian name meaning "Place of the Open Rocks."

"Real Daughter" Grave Marking

The grave of Anna Clarke Morse (national number 9798), a Real Daughter from Cherry Valley, was marked by the Oneonta and Otsego Chapters of the NSDAR in the fall of 2014. A REAL DAUGHTER is a DAR member who's father was actually a Revolutionary War soldier. Anna's father was Jerome Clark (patriot number A022408), a soldier from Ct.
